The Cutchi Memon Jamat of North America (CMJNA) was founded in 1992, and was determined by the US Internal Revenue Service to be a tax-exempt organization.  Our TIN is 13-3762107. 

CMJNA's current President is Dr. Rehana Shakur.  Our Secretary General is Arif G. Kadwani.

What We Do

CMJNA fosters a cultural awakening among Cutchi Memons (individuals having ancestral and/or family roots in the Cutch area of Gujarat State in Western India) residing in North America.

CMJNA attempts to propagate among Cutchi Memons in the US the need to financially assist less fortunate Cutchi Memons  and others around the world. 

CMJNA seeks to maintain affiliation and identity with Cutchi Memon associations around the world.  It maintains such ties of friendship and camaraderie so that it acieves its aim of retaining the Cutchi Memon heritage and culture in the US.

CMJNA projects the Cutchi Memon culture in the US by promoting a better understanding of the myriad world cultures.
